WHAT IS REMOTE ACCESS?
In computer science, remote access is a type of connection that is made between two or more computers located at a distance between them by connecting them to each other normally through a computer network (LAN, WAN), such as through the Internet (remote connection), allowing more or less limited control of one of the two machines operating from one on the other. This is typically a feature for system administrators, thus contrasting with the typical direct access in which the IT operator and the user simply act directly on the machine.
